One of the units that we covered in Religion in Semester 1 was Aboriginal Spirituality, aboriginal spirituality essay. We learnt about all aspects of Aboriginal Spirituality, including sacred stories, symbols, aboriginal spirituality essay, sacred sites and various ceremonies.
I believe that Aboriginal Spirituality is a religion. Aboriginal Spirituality has the same characteristics as any other religion. Some of the aspects associated with it are sacred stories, sacred aboriginal spirituality essay and numerous ceremonies.
All these components contribute to Aboriginal Spirituality, just as they contribute to religions such as Catholicism and Buddhism. The Aboriginal people have such a rich culture which is greatly influenced by their spirituality.
The basis of their spirituality is the telling of sacred stories. Explained is these stories is the history of how everything on aboriginal spirituality essay land and the land itself was created. Everything that the Aboriginal people live by is told to them in the sacred stories which have been passed down through many generations. Their beliefs are very passionate and they have such a strong connection to the land.

All the stories have clear moral messages which influence how the Aboriginal people live their lives. Many of the stories talk about the land and their personal connection with it.
This story tells of the power of the elders and how the land needs to be respected and shared amongst everyone. Aboriginal Spirituality also consists of many different symbols and sacred sites. The Aboriginal people have numerous artworks and they all have significant messages and stories which are explained through the use of different symbols. There are also many sacred sites including Uluru, or Ayers Rock. Uluru is very sacred to the Aboriginal spirituality essay people because it has such a deep history and is such a monumental landform.
It is also believed that many spirits and ancestors inhabit the land where Uluru is. There are also different ceremonies that the Aboriginal people partake in. One of the ceremonies is an initiation ceremony.
